Always a wonderful, fun filled time at Bowdoin. Our boys absolutely love it there. Between the beautiful and clean playground, the baseball field, plenty of hiking and biking and running space you can spend the entire day and never get bored! The gorgeous panoramic views of the river, it’s a serene and relaxing place to go for the kids to play, for a place to gather your thoughts, get fresh air, paint/draw, find inspiration, write... the list goes on. There are even Eagles nests there, where you can watch the Resident Eagles fly from tree to tree. Spectacular place💯💯

I love this park been running in this park with friends regularly for over 10 years but lately the past 3 years has been changing. More people with dogs are coming in and not really picking up after their dogs and letting their dogs run unleashed all over the park. This is not a dog park (try Beacon NY I think they have one). Also, just heard how the park is being pimped out to NYC films. They destroyed some of the blue trail. People come here for exercise and to bird watch and the County Executive who is GOP is ruining the park. Please save the park.

Great park with plenty to do. A playground and a splash pad for the kids, plenty of hiking trails, ball fields, a great hill for sledding in the snow, ponds (with ducks sometimes), bbqs for cooking, pavilions for rent to have parties, bird watching and run on sentences. Truly a great park. There are bathrooms scattered about and you can keep coming back and always find something to do here. Great views of the hudson too. Park is clean and usually fairly empty. A+, would park again.

I've loved coming to Bowdoin since I was a kid and now I get to come here with other families and explore the land for photo sessions! I never knew there were all the trails in the woods and the whole area beyond the playground until last year. It has never been too crowded when I've been here as well and is usually pretty clean (although I do sometimes see some litter in the pond :( which isn't great). Can't wait to work here again!

We were just driving small roads up the Hudson River when we spotted Bowdoin Park and drove in. It is a very well maintained and quite large park nestled up along the Hudson River. There are lots of areas for private picnics. We watched people practice archery and then spotted an eagle. If you are looking for a relaxing place to have lunch, walk a dog or a spot to have your kids run wild--this is it.

Growing up in this area, I have always enjoyed going there feeling a sense of peace and tranquility. There's so much to do as well. Playing fields to fly kites play Frisbee baseball. Also, you can have a bbq as well. The location being on the Hudson makes it extra special if I ever were to get remarried I would definitely think about doing the event at Bowdoin Park my place for me and many others
