This is a decent area park, with options depending on the season. There's a great playground for kids, with a structure for smaller/younger kids, and a more challenging climbing structure for older kids. There's a huge open field for bird watching, trails for hiking, and seasonally, a free splash pad for kids. My son loves coming here in all seasons, and although there's no fencing, there's a divider between the parking lot and the grassy area. The playground is far enough away from the parking lot. Pay attention to signs for the park closing as they will often drive around prior to closing and announce the time as they state the gates close at 5. Overall, it's a good area park, although sometimes it's ruined by inconsiderate patrons (smoking, loud radios playing music). It's not my favorite area park as a result but it's a nice option since it's local to me.
