The Black Point Beach in Ticonderoga is the BEST beach on the Lake George. It is at the north end of the beach and it is always clean and a very relaxing place to go. The water often is not warm enough for swimming until the June timeframe, but you will see some brave souls swimming in May. They have a nice area roped off for swimming and a lane for launching kayak's, canoes, and other water board type of activities. It's also one of the few places on the lake where there are areas where you can dig up clay.

Have been coming to LG for 54 yrs. since I was a baby & it hasn't changed much except for McDonald's, Walmart & dunking donuts. Such a beautiful spot to enjoy the beach overlooking Roger's Rock. Lifeguards on site. Clean bathrooms and changing rooms. Nice pavilion, picnic tables and grills to picnic with. A nice volleyball net and playground for the lil ones. Sand and grass. Sun and shade and a kayak launching area. A perfect spot to enjoy...
