Ryan's Country Farm — Attraction in Town of Queensbury

We stopped in today, based on the good reviews. There were alot of pumpkins to choose from. That's where the good ended for us. We walked inside, it smelled like pies baking. I said how good it smelled and got a gruff reply "Yeah, they're baking something " Nowhere in sight was anything fresh baked, etc, as the photos showed. My mom asked the gruff man a price on a pumpkin. After he said 99 cents a pound, he went in to a rant about minimum wage, no one wants to work picking and cleaning pumpkins, etc.. went on a bit too long. My mom said "I know" and he said "That's the problem. You all say I know and do nothing" He went on to rant that YOU ALL NEED TO WRITE LETTERS TO THE GOVERNMENT! We absolutely love having Ryan’s Country farm nearby! I do all my fall pumpkin shopping here, and this year we purchased a beautiful Christmas tree from them. The selection of mums, pumpkins, and trees are above and beyond! Highly recommend, and maybe you’ll get a free apple...

Stopped here while on vacation. They could use a course in customer service. And after reading their response to reviews, yikes. No wonder why their "small business" is struggling.
