Nice park BUT jewish community make you feel really really uncomfortable. I stopped there with the family(me wife and kids) and we were seen as aliens... everytime we went to the swings area people would look at us... gossip then after 5 min they were all gone. We were there alone. We to ignore it. Then we moved to the slides. Same story. Gossip, wierd looks and after 3 o 4 min all the kids (jewish) and their parents were all gone. Its a horrible experience... people there are close minded. They should just mind their own kids and business. I dont recommend it unless you are jewish. And by the way there was trash all over the place this...
Read more2 Lovely shaded playground climbing structures (for younger children and older children) plus a shaded swing area. There's a covered picnic gazebo with a few tables. This park has a shady paved biking/ walking trail near a stream which took us about 10-15 minutes to walk through at a leisurely pace (with an 8 year old and a4 year old). There's also a sunny path around a lake/ pond which has a small fountain in it. here are tennis courts and racquetball courts. We did not check to see if the restroom area was open, although there is one. There is a drink vending machine as well....
Read moreGreat place to walk. A clean path ambles through a wooded park around a lovely pond. There once was a geese poop issue but now the geese are gone. Unfortunately, the geese poop has been replaced with irate dog owners and their pets poop. Also, many pet owners believe their animals should walk on the path making other people step aside to avoid tripping over leashes. When you comment about the hazards they argue with you. In typical NY/NJ fashion the frequent pet owners behave as though they are park mayors and everyone else is a mere visitor. Enjoy th park but lookout for...
