Flyte's Fieldstones — Attraction in Town of Richford

First time out to Flyte’s..not impressed. Very bummed. The entry fee is a lot but given ALL the activities they advertise I was okay with it. Come to find out that one of our kids was too short to ride the slide and they wouldn’t allow a parent to ride with him. Understandable but they should have those rules and restrictions posted at the front entrance, not to pay $24 for an unlimited pass to completely waste it cause they couldn’t ride. The pumpkin that was included with entry fee was supposed to be smaller than one they had displayed, overall it was a good place for pumpkins. They were very good looking. The concession stands were terrible. Very very understaffed. I feel that my family waited in line for longer than we did any of the activities. There are 2 different concession stands, both ridiculously slow. When we did get our food, our pizza dough was still raw and floppy and 2/3 chicken tenders we got were still frozen/raw. I did get my $6 back for the chicken but I was told “they are pre cooked, they aren’t raw”. They were raw enough that my kids would have gotten sick eating them. Overall the people working were very nice and I believe this could be a really fun place but they are trying to do way too much with way too...

Very expensive entry fee. The free pumpkin you get to pick out is supposed to be smaller than a basketball. Plus the layout of the farm was confusing and weird. Lots of the adventures we're not open, non-functional, or not staffed. We went on a busy Sunday afternoon too. The wagon ride operation was poorly run. We saw no wagons for at least the first hour. When one finally showed up on the slide hillside, he parked it. Said he'd be moving in 10 or 15 minutes when the one family he has been chauffeuring was done with the slides. Towards the end of our trip, we saw three wagons coming back to the front. Each carrying one family a piece. Most concessions felt very overpriced too. Not much of a surprise there, but the food service was ridiculously slow. Then the lines for food were long because of it. I can't recommend paying for unlimited slide rides. Your kids will be exhausted and tired of pulling the raft up the steep hill. They might want to do it twice, maybe three times tops. We've been to a lot over the years. I recently had my wedding reception a Fieldstones. The entire day went so smoothly and so perfect! Flytes venue is incredibly gorgeous and there is so much for kids to do and play on! There was more than enough space for all of my guests for dinner and for dancing. Carolyn, Hattie, everyone at Fieldstones knew exactly what to do, where to put things, and how to run the show! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this place deserves 100x more!!!!
