Brieremere Farms is an absolute Long Island gem and hands-down my favorite place for pies! I travel over an hour just to get them, and it’s always worth the trip. Whenever I’m out east, I make it a point to stop by — it’s become a tradition at this point. The pies are truly something special: fresh, homemade, and bursting with flavor. You can taste the difference in every bite.
My personal favorite is the Raspberry Cream Pie — it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had. The crust is perfectly flaky, the filling is rich and tangy, and the cream layer ties it all together in the most decadent way. Every pie I’ve tried here, though, has been amazing — from the blueberry to the strawberry rhubarb, they’re all made with fresh ingredients and just the right level of sweetness.
A quick tip: I definitely recommend ordering ahead if you can, especially during the busy season. These pies sell out fast, and for good reason! The line can get very long in the summer and around the holidays, but it moves quickly and the staff keeps things organized and friendly. Plus, once you get your hands on those pies, you’ll forget all about the wait — they’re that good.
I also love bringing Brieremere pies as hostess gifts when visiting friends or family — they’re always a huge hit and never fail to impress. Simply put, no trip out east is complete without a stop at...
Read moreThe pies from Briermere Farms are delicious! If you are passing by this area, you have to stop by! Briermere Farms is an adorable farm stand that sells delicious hot-from-the-oven pies and other baked goods. I really wanted a silky blueberry cream pie but I thought that won't last in this summer heat. So we opted for a blueberry crisp ($18) . Our friends got 3 apple turnovers, which they were gracious enough to let me try. The apple turnover had a beautiful buttery flakey crust and crisp apples. So good! Pies average around $20.
I couldn't wait to get home to try this beautiful fresh blueberry crisp. That first slice was amazing! Crispy buttery crumbles, a perfect flakey crust and gooey gelatinous blueberries. I took the slice and held it to the light, pretending to be like Christina Tosi, checking for how the pie holds, the quality of the crust and the overall taste. Folks, we have a winner!
Side note: If you love plants, definitely come and take a look! The plants looked vibrant and well taken care of. Fresh bountiful basil, rhubarb, lavender, hanging flowering plants, and cut sunflowers. BF also sells pints of blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries.
I will definitely come back...
