My friends and I took a trip to this place this past Saturday. Our group of 7 came in 2 separate cars so technically you could call us 2 smaller groups.
It just so happened that at the same exact time we pulled up to the place a limo entered the parking lot.
As my friends and I walked toward the building employee after employee asked us if we came from the limo to which we responded "no" to at least 2 people.
Upon entering the place it looked nice on the inside. The cool air conditioning felt great and we were all ready for a wine tasting.
Then suddenly the owner comes into the building and said, "Don't serve these guys, they came from the limo" to which we all responded no. The owner didn't believe us and we left the premises and went to some other nearby wineries.
We couldn't believe the audacity of the owner!! Unbelievable! Way to lose out on potential customers. I really hope he reads this review. Google let me pick 1 star, but I would have left zero for your stubborn headed discrimination. I mean what possesses someone to do that? As the owner wouldn't you want to be welcoming to customers?
To everyone who reads this, do yourself a favor and skip this winery. There are much better, livelier, and friendlier wineries just mere minutes away from this one. Wineries with people enjoying themselves with some tasty wine.
Oh and I forgot to add that one of the employees did end up apologizing for the owner after they all saw us roll out of there in our cars. The twist was that the limo apparently was for the guy's son and his friends, something weird like that. Just do yourself a favor and...

Clovis Point Vineyard is a true treasure for any wine lover. From the moment you arrive, the charm of the vineyard draws you in. The stunning views of the vines and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for an unforgettable wine-tasting experience. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, guiding you through their selection of wines with genuine passion and a deep understanding of the winemaking process.
The wines themselves are fantastic—a beautiful balance of local character and craftsmanship. Each pour, whether it’s their crisp whites or robust reds, is carefully curated to showcase the essence of the region. I was particularly impressed by their Cabernet Franc and Merlot; they were smooth, full-bodied, and bursting with flavor. And the tasting room is a cozy, inviting space that encourages you to sit back, relax, and take in the full experience.
If you’re looking for an intimate, memorable visit to a vineyard where you can enjoy great wine and even better company, Clovis Point is an absolute must. I’ll...
Read moreDid a North Fork Wine Trail day. This was my second time here and was as disappointing as my first visit. The vineyard and grounds are pretty but owners/managers are less than hospitable. There was live music scheduled from 12:30 to 3pm. We arrived shortly before 1pm and we’re greeted with the brusk comment “We have a 1pm and 2pm seating. You are the 1 pm”. We did tastings, ordered food and ultimately a bottle of wine”. Just before 2pm (and out 1hr limit) we were given a choice of ordering more or getting our check. Never have I seen an establishment discourage customers from spending money and actually oust paying patrons.
Management is controlling and even followed us to restrooms!
We moved on to Jason’s Vineyard (nearly just down the block). The place was packed - unlike Clovis, with no rule of one hour max. It was fun, energetic and welcoming.
You have so many choices of wineries on the North Fork....
