Spirit's Promise Equine Rescue — Attraction in Town of Riverhead

PLEASE BEWARE!!! This is not to berate the entire staff by any means, There are several absolutely wonderful people, including the owner Marissa . However Christina is a god awful, miserable, demeaning person who is obviously VERY unhappy with her dismal life and consistently takes it out on staff on volunteers. I hate to have to say anyone should avoid this place due to one UNRULY, HORRIBLE person, but she is a scar on the face of an otherwise great facility and until she is removed from interacting with staff and or fired I would seriously recommend staying as far away from this facility as possible. I only clicked one star because its required. She is not deserving...

Thank God for Spirit's Promise Equine Rescue! I experienced my first tour this past Saturday lead by Danny who walked me through the animals as well as the stories on how each animal became fortunate enough to live out their live now at Spirit's Promise! What a blessing for all of us animal lovers to see how happy the animals are . Also what made a huge impact on me was the enthusiasm and love shown by Danny all the workers I met they were just happy being there and taking care of the animals . They knew each animal and their little idiosyncrasies that made each animal not bad but special !!! God...
