The lake is beautiful especially first thing in the morning. We go to the launch next to the campground and Stewart’s as we have a canoe and enjoy fishing. Big plus is they have a couple of restrooms there (port a potties) and they are clean
Be prepared for a couple of things the boat launch fills fast between 9 and 10 so get there earlier
the rowing clubs can be a pain especially in May as they have the regatta.
watch for folks not observing the no wake zones. We have seen several boats almost tip kayakers when they take off.

I took one star away because there should be a staff member directing people on what to do. It could be so much more efficient if you had someone telling boaters what lanes to use and when. Technically, you could have two launch lanes and one retrieval lane or any combination of that. Parking can also be limited and single cars often take up spots for tow vehicles...
