Parked at lower point. Headed approx 1 mile til we got to a decision point to go straight or venture right. No map trail poorly marked. We ventured right and made a fairly decent climb up a Rocky area. Came out to a grassy field and had another decision point. No clue where we were or where we were going. Never saw Green Bay. Saw occasional blue arrows but they were meaningless as at decision points they pointed different directions. We ventured on. Ran into some people who talked like they knew where there were but were clueless in reality. My guess is they are still lost in woods. Eventually we made it back to car but never really was 100% confident we were going in right direction. Glad I watched survivor man...
Read moreA nice park featuring prairie and woods, but the views are not as good as other parks on the peninsula. Also, other parks offer the option to drive through, but this one you can only hike. I appreciate that they have done conservation efforts like removing invasive species, and that it is well-marked. However, I think there are more scenic parks in Door County, like Peninsula State Park, Ellison Bluff, Potawatomi, etc. Bayshore Blufflands has one good view of Lake Michigan with bluffs in the distance.
