Let's start with the fact that the staff is very rude, the information does not correspond to reality. We booked a place for six people, of which only 4 were included in the same price and for subsequent people you had to pay extra. Before paying, I asked if suddenly, under any circumstances, people did not come, can we get a refund for those additional people, because in this clearing you come with your tent anyway, and in principle there would be enough space only for two tents with a capacity of two people (the place is small). I was told that of course I can get a refund for those additional people upon arrival in case of anything. Before we left (2 hours drive), I called and made sure everything was okay with the reservation and that only two were traveling instead of six and asked again about a refund for two additional people that were not included in the price. To which there was a positive answer and that I can not worry. However, upon arrival, they were told to come the next day. The next day we were told to come later (there was no specific person who could return the money), then there was no one at all in the office and so on until we left. Before we left, we stopped again at the main office where again no one was there. Nobody answered the phone. During the week, no one picked up the phone and no one called back. Finally, a week later they picked up the phone. First of all, no one had talked to me that rudely before stating that they have a no refund policy. Secondly, “I don’t have time to waste, I work very hard to earn my money,” said the girl Mercy. She also replied, "If your friends ditched you, go and ask them for your refund." Well, let's start with the fact that friends knew that I could get a refund because of this they decided not to go, and if something happened they would, secondly, how dare you talk in this way with your clients! " There was no need to give the wrong information initially! And if you work so hard, go and learn how to talk with clients before getting a job!

Really enjoyed my stay here with a group of 7 people. Kayla (sorry if spelling is not correct) at the front desk was really lovely and helpful! There is a small campstore with firewood, fire starter, coffee, snacks, etc. A few single person public bathrooms w/shower for the campground. Bathrooms were new and clean. The campsites were different sizes, so its best to call and ask which might be best to accommodate your group...ie I don't think our three tents would have fit on one of the smaller sites. Each site has a small grill, picnic table, firepit and two chairs. It was really pleasant that the campground wasn't crowded. It's the priciest campground I've ever been to, but I made the choice to stay here because the public campgrounds nearby had poor reviews. We were all happy with our choice and enjoyed the stay! Thank you!

We Camped at Boulder Point during Memorial Day Weekend. We were a large group escaping the NYC quarantine and we really had a fantastic time. Really close to the city, which made it really easy to get to and at the same time, far away from it all. The woods and open areas are really beautiful. There are no RVs, which makes the night really quiet (no lights, no motor noise). Friendly and chilled campground staff and dogs, who stopped by (maybe a tad too often, especially the dogs) and asked if you needed anything. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. Close to very nice hikes and with a very convenient ice machine! There were comfy tables and chairs at each site. We are already planning our next visit!

Do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! All the positive reviews are written by friends of the staff (notice how disrespectful their responses are towards their reviews, that is exactly their attitude in person)!!! The staff is so rude and unprofessional. Over the phone, the workers seem friendly but in person they are completely different. Even though the location itself is nice, I would never go back because of the staff there. Not worth the money to be treated with such disrespect.

Please do your research before coming here. This is coming from an honest and avid camper, save yourself the time and stress. I will NEVER be coming back. There are much better campgrounds in the area that I will much rather go to, and I suggest you do the same.

UPDATE: 4/9/22 This place is clearly racist because they are targeting each negative review as if a "Russian" girl is writing them. This just proves my point even more of how unprofessional they are. So disappointing that this is happening in...

Here’s the deal. This campsite is very well maintained and clean but

  1. there are no amenities and
  2. the listing changes periodically and can be misleading.

Regarding the listing being misleading, I’m pretty sure the listing said we’d have access to the pool when we booked a while back. At least it mentioned a pool. However, when we came they said we wouldn’t have access. I checked the listing and the whole thing was changed and there was no mention of any pool.

Additionally, the listing says the bathrooms are beautiful and brand new. In reality, it seems like only 2 out of the 4 are new. While they’re all clean and nice, this again is misleading.

Regarding amenities, there’s no playground, no body of water, no hookups, no pool - absolutely nothing. Just basic campsites. That would be okay for a cheaper campsite but for $200/night it was...
