Woodbury Winery & Vineyards — Attraction in Town of Sheridan

My husband and I visited Woodbury Winery & Vineyards on Saturday, July 25, 2015. We have actually been shareholders since 1998 and have never taken the opportunity to visit until now. Wow, have we been missing out! We truly had a wonderful experience and were warmly greeted and invited to enjoy a wine tasting. We have never actually experienced one before, so we are not experts by any means...but we had a great time! The wines were delicious, the atmosphere inviting and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and appreciated the opportunity to purchase the wines we tasted to give as gifts and also to enjoy ourselves, and the wine glasses carried the Woodbury Vineyards logo, which made a great souvenir! Thank you all for a fantastic time and we are looking forward to learning more about what it means to be a shareholder so that we can be more involved. In the mean time, we will most certainly be spreading the word about this little gem of a winery in the heart of Fredonias's wine...

This winery use to be my favorite. They do have some good wine but the service there has gotten bad. Rachael was very disrespectful and rude. We got served at our table for tastings with dixie cups, ones you would normally use in your bathroom, and if you would put the amount they gave us in a normal wine glass, which they use when sitting at the bar for tastings, it would just fill the bottom of the glass with no visibility of it from the side. Our tastings in our dixie cup were just filling the bottom. Really and they wanted us to pay 6.00 for the tastings? For this at once being my favorite winery it has gone down hill with their service and not worth it for me to go for tastings. You can't even order a glass of wine instead. So my party of 5 left and went to a different winery and bought not a glass of wine, which we could have but instead picked up a big bottle to drink outside.. So Woodbury lost some...

So I had a bus load of people and we stopped at this winery yesterday when I tell you, Justin and his team were wonderful!! we started off our day a little Rocky with our bus being very late and it was just a trickle down effect the winery before this Was so nasty?& very rude to us when we got to Woodbury we were kind of scared to even go in. Justin literally came out to the bus and said we did not have to come in as small groups that we were all welcome. They treated us so good. This is how a business should run , they also had A back area that had a few cornhole boards set up so we took the time out to enjoy a few minutes of that while we were there ,I would recommend if you are out on a wine tour to try some of their yummy wines, especially the peanut butter came with two bottles and I think I already have two bottles here,...
