If your touring Central NY , PLEASE CONSIDER stopping by and staying awhile , for Skaneateles is one of the best of the Finger Lakes . Reflective crystal clear blue water that allows you to see the natural bottom at good depths below. Pristine picturesque beauty that was created by glaciers carving out sloping hills , so that shores are both easily visible even if your in the middle horizon of the lake , and those wine filled hills with their majestic mansions. If there's a little bit of cloud coverage overhead in those dazzling blues above, well then those tufts clouds of white float like shinning sails in the waters at your port and starboard's . Skaneateles max depth goes down to 315' . Folks , it's magical and created by time itself. When your in the middle of Skanneateles you see the evolution of it all , and it's the most beautifully self realization. Stars in the back of my head and the suns above and bright . Zenith&Nader

Couldn’t have been more perfect! The water is so clear, you can see fish swimming and they’ll even swim up to your kayak. The whole...
