I've been going there since 2007 with my first grandson I have four grandkids now and they all went there we will drop them off every time since we are not Smithtown resident. My grandkids love going there the people are friendly and nice. They have playgrounds on the sands ends on rubber mats. Unfortunately this year with a Corona and everything. I decided not to go until August I decided to taking my granddaughter at 3 she went there last year and the year after I think she miss going there we also feed the animals take them carrots celery and she likes feeding them. Last August of this year I tried to take her it was a young girl there I told you I was getting dropped off she said you can't come in I told her how long I've been coming here she insisted I did not get mad I was disappointed. I told her I was just getting dropped off she refuses so I left and my Grand daughter was what happened Grandpa I told her that they will close because of the corona smiles she said okay Jones is not good grandpa and I said you are right. Anyway this place is a nice place to take your family to the peaceful I only go there Monday to Friday not everyday not every week it's a nice place whole family friendly people Animal Park nice walks. Read moreWe love this little farm!!
We don't live in Smithtown so we are not able to get the sticker that allows year-round access. As a result we can only go during the "off season".
So it's pretty basic and it's not huge, but the animals are just so sweet!! Chickens, rabbits, pigs, sheep, goats, and the cutest little cow named Charlie. (I think he is about 18 months old. Sweet as can be.)
So (at least during the "off season") there is no parking fee and no admission fee. Free is always nice.
The animals are approachable. You can pet them and feed them. We usually bring romaine lettuce, carrots, and apples. (Some people bring celery.) They don't seem to love the lettuce, but they sure do love the carrots and apples!! :-)
As the other reviewers have mentioned, they have a playground, a picnic area, and restrooms ... but we go for the animals.

My advice - go to Stop&Shop, grab four 2-lb bags of carrots (about $8), and go have a really nice, relaxing hour at...

It has a stage where concerts can be held, plenty of picnic tables, they lend out boce balls, Softball equipment, Corn hole equipment and a bunch of other things all you have to do is give them your license or state identification. They also have a great nature walk where there is live animals that you can pet and feed. One of the best parts about to park is it also as a sprinkler area for the kids, they have a Palm tree and a bunch of other cool looking things that sprinkle out water definitely a great park for the kids and adults as well. definitely a place...
