Is it possible to give 10 stars? Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures is by far, a ten! Okay. No it’s not, I lied. It’s actually an 11. So yes, 11 stars it is! If you’re looking for a place to entertain kids, teenagers and gosh even adults…. Everyone!!! Bristol Mountain Aerial and Adventures is the place to go! Don’t even bother looking at any place else. This place has enough entertainment to last a lifetime. I honestly can’t believe it took me this long to discover such a local gem. I wanted to take my nephews and niece to a place that was fun safe and memorable.
Boy oh boy, they sure got their socks knocked off. In a manner of speaking of course, everything was quite safe and put my mind at ease. Upon arrival at Bristol Mountain and Aerial and Adventures, I was excited but a little unsure as I have never been here before and I wasn’t sure the safety precautions that were set in place for such an adventurous activity. The entire staff were welcoming, friendly and thorough. They explained everything in great detail quite easily and imploring further about the safety measures that were taken place prior to the visit, I felt even more comfortable as they had told me they do a thorough check upon opening to ensure that everything is up to code. So yes as I saw my nephews and niece hanging like monkeys in a freaking jungle I knew that they would be OK. The smiles on their face were priceless. The look of concentration and their looks of euphoric success upon finishing each course was such a sight to see! This is challenging fun and fulfilling for any person that embarks on these obstacle courses. And there are so many different levels based on a person’s skill and preference. So don’t worry, there are courses for everybody from beginner to advanced. So yes, I’m tooting my horn a little bit as the fun aunt Sara that decided to take her nephews and niece out on a little jungle adventure. They are still talking about it today to their mom and dad. And yes I observed everything! I was able to take pictures and really feel like I was a part of the action Even as I was standing from the ground.
I said it once and I said it before this place is the perfect place to have a little fun and adventure during these crazy post Covid times that we are navigating through. Worth every penny. If you haven’t been here you should definitely...
Read moreHey, I regret to inform you that I was not satisfied with my experience. While climbing the course, I was suddenly told to get off the aerial park. When I asked why, an employee told me, “If you used your brain, you’d know since there’s lightning, and you could get hurt on the metal—if you used it again, you’d understand it could hurt you.” The tone was very disrespectful. When I was trying to get to the base before this, I almost fell, while the same employee, Mackenzie, was on her phone. When I regained my balance and walked past her, I saw she was scrolling through social media reels. She was the only worker on the platform, with no one else around to help if something happened. This compromises not only my safety, but the safety of every guest. Your employee Mackenzie is putting others in danger and, if someone got hurt, your company would be at fault. We also had over an hour left in the park, so this wasted both my time and money. The manager only offered a voucher for one hour, but I do not want more time—I would like a refund. But the most disappointing part was the attitude directed at me and my family. It became quite clear that, despite the fact that we live in America, help people, and even save lives, we were not treated as equals—just because we weren’t born here. No one should be judged or disrespected because of their place of birth. Everyone who follows the law, brings benefit to others, and contributes to the community deserves to be treated with dignity. I want to remind you of what President Ronald Reagan once said: “You can go to live in France, but you cannot become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or a Japanese. But anyone, from any corner of the Earth, can come to live in America and become an American.” This is the essence of the American Dream. Please, do not allow ignorance or prejudice to undermine it in your company. I also think that it would be a good idea for employees (including the manager) to work on improving the quality of customer service.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreUPDATE: I was contacted by the company and the owners agreed to a refund. I genuinely appreciate the response. There was never anything wrong with the experience. My kids did a ropes course 2 days before and LOVED it! That's why we went back. My only issue was the weather refund policy. The experience is in a tourist area. If you are going to run a business in a tourist area and have to cancel because of weather, the policy should be a refund and not a credit to use another time because most people will never use it. I understand a no-cancellation policy on the part of the customer. I get that. But there really should be a separate weather policy for most of the customers who don't live close.
There are many wonderful things to do in the Finger Lakes area. Choose ANY of them but this place. I spent over $200 for a zip line tour. A thunderstorm rolled through and they decided to cancel the tour…even after the sun came out. They offered a “weather voucher.” When I explained that I lived over 6 hours away and the voucher would be useless, the woman behind the counter chose to just read the policy to me out loud and suggested I give my vouchers to someone at my hotel if I couldn’t use them. These people are unprofessional and an embarrassment. A “business” that chooses to keep a customers money when they don’t actually provide a service is a...
