Halsey Farm & Nursery — Attraction in Town of Southampton

Greatest Corn on the cob in the universe. Found this farm stand last year. I travel from Westchester to East Hampton and go out of my way to visit. Today I planned the trip to arrive just as they opened the doors. The Corn was just being brought inside after being freshly picked. The woman inside could not have been nicer and told me if I'm ever early she will always let me in. There is no way to describe how amazing the corn is. I gave some to my boss and his family and they were also in awe. I only wish I owned a food store where I live because I would sell a thousand ears a day, it is that amazing. I have not tried any of the other produce yet but from what I have seen it must all be as crazy good as the corn. Thank you Halsey. See...

I'd love to give a 5* rating since we have been customers for 20+ years and the produce (esp corn!) is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful, but I want to get the message across that there are two practices that are annoying, frustrating and puzzling: They will not remove carrot leafy tops (which are quite bulky) They no longer have a net for the blueberry boxes (which results in many escaping blueberries).

Halsey Farm is the real deal! You will notice that they open later in the season due to growing all of their own veggies and everything that can be locally grown.
