I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lobster Hill Farm in Brewster, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The Airbnb cottage on the working farm provided a unique and unforgettable getaway.
From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly family made us feel right at home. They were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we discovered that the barbecue grill on the patio wasn't working, they promptly purchased a new one for us to use. This level of thoughtfulness and attentiveness truly impressed us.
Exploring the farm was a highlight of our stay. With a wide variety of animals including goats, pigs, chickens, and rabbits, there was always something fascinating to see. The hosts graciously allowed us free range of the entire farm, and we enjoyed hiking and immersing ourselves in the farm's rich history. The cottage itself was charming and nostalgic, evoking a sense of stepping back in time.
What truly sets Lobster Hill Farm apart is the exceptional hospitality of the hosts and their polite and friendly children. Throughout our stay, they made us feel like part of their extended family. Their genuine warmth and welcoming nature created a sense of belonging that made us forget we were in Brewster. It's rare to find hosts who go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a memorable experience.
I highly recommend Lobster Hill Farm to anyone seeking a unique and enchanting getaway. Whether you're looking to reconnect with nature, learn about farm life, or simply relax in a peaceful setting, this place has it all. Thank you to the entire Lobster Hill Farm family for making our stay truly unforgettable. We can't...
Read moreI booked for a Girl Scout activity with five other moms from a post we found where Jessica was advertising this as a Girl Scout Badge earner. Due to bad weather our original date of yoga was cancelled. Upon rebooking for the following week two of my moms ended up having last minute scheduling conflicts, and one a health emergency. I approached the owner to reschedule or if it was easier to give a voucher for individuals so we could go when we could go. Organizing everyone for another day was too hard after the first one was cancelled. We were told of the policy of no refunds no vouchers when we asked to reschedule. It’s a shame because I understand small business but life happens and it would have been nice to have someone work with us. It was not listed anywhere on her website the policy nor was it explained to us upon booking. If it was I wouldn’t have done this for our group because getting everyone together on another day is hard. It’s unfortunate and then the owner also didn’t answer any of my concerns. I can’t speak for the experience itself with Yoga but I will say the farm doesn’t work with you if you need them too. In fact when I reached out saying I hadn’t left a review and I found it unprofessional for her to use my name when it wasn’t even me she didn’t answer or...
Read moreStayed in their Crooked Cottage on Airbnb. The cottage was old and all kinds of crooked, sure enough, but it was comfortable, quiet, and one of the best prices in the area. The family was very nice and friendly, communicative, helpful, and didn't give me any hassle about repairing my luggage trailer in the yard, which I really appreciated. If we're ever back in the area we would definitely stay...
