Be very careful with the parking here. The Google entry is misleading. The parking is not open to anyone but locals so technically there's no free access to this beach. We got a ticket even though the parking was completely empty and there was not a person in sight to consult with (we were literally coming from my cousin we are visiting a few roads away) and scarcely stayed for maybe 30 mins as we just wanted to take a quick nature break on our way to somewhere else. Read moreThe North Shore is just absolutely beautiful. 67 Steps is referring to the number of steps you need to go down to get to the sand. This beach is in a residential area. Parking is limited. Signs do indicate that a permit is required. Plenty of boulders to sit on while you wait for that sunset 😍. This beach is the Long Island Sound.
