I have been searching for a safe small park where I could bring my small/mid size dog and was excited to check out this dog park from an online search. Upon parking I was greeted by a very rude lady who told me that I had to leave immediately (I hadn’t even stepped out of my car yet). She snapped at me saying I should read the signs (which they parked in front of so no, I couldn’t see). I’m disappointed that I drove all the way to this park for no reason and was greeted in such a hostile manner. I thought the point of dog parks was to meet friendly people and for the dogs to do the same? Regardless, I never plan on returning. I recommend the maple grove dog park if you’re looking for a smaller and (much) friendlier crowd.
Edit to add: I was not aware that this was private or that there was a charge to enter. A basic internet search/google did not disclose that it was private. I was just searching for a friendly local dog park for my dog as most others are too large for smaller dogs. Hopefully others will see this review and can avoid further frustration...
Read moreWe love taking our dog to dairy ridge run. We buy the packages because we go so often. Since we don’t have a yard, we were always worrying she wasn’t getting enough exercise. This place is everything we could have asked for. Our dog loves it. Both the indoor and outdoor runs are well maintained, equipment is always clean, they supply dog bags & trash, and theres plenty of running room/things to do. Outside, there’s shade/shelter for tough weather days, a mini kids pool for dogs to cool down in the heat, tons of toys, and they have put out water for the dogs to drink on hot days. For the indoor run, there’s a ball pit, structures for dogs to climb up and down if they’d like to, and plenty of toys as well. In Wisconsin, this was an incredible find to exercise our energetic dog in...
Read moreI really like this dog park. It’s clean and has a great shelter to stand under if it’s raining or super sunny. There’s a variety of enrichment options for the dogs and the fence is high and secure all the way around. I would give it a fifth star if it had a double gate entry system like some of the other private parks have. It would just make me feel safer and there would be an extra barrier incase someone who didn’t know it was a private park came to open the gate when we were in there - my dog is an escape artist so I do worry about only having the one gate. It seems like it would be easy to do a double gate entry where the current gate is building the second one into the park area. Just an idea :) the park is...
