I have been to the winery four times. Once for a simple appetizer plate and some wine, that was good. Twice to buy some wine. That was good. But on Saturday 10/9 we had a reservation for 4 at 3PM. We made the reservation at least a week in advance. When we arrived, we saw a long line. The reservation just put us at the back of the long line! An hour later we grabbed two bottles of wine, ordered our food and proceeded to our table. At a little before 5PM we still didn't have our food and the staff person told us they had a party of 10 coming at 5PM and needed our table. A little frustrated, we said - no problem - we'll move to a picnic table. The other party came, and didn't even use our table! Then the food started coming, but it all came at different times. We just ate it as it came because it was already getting cold. I ended up biting into a plastic bread tie in my sandwich (which was refunded), but overall, this was a very disappointing visit. I thought about giving 2 stars because we have enjoy the winery in the past, but a couple of things should change - IMO. When someone makes a reservation at 3PM and it is busy there should be a reservation line to the bar. I had the sense most of the people in front of us we walk-ins. If not, then it would be nice to prioritize the food of parties with reservations so you don't need to ask them to move to another table when the next reservation comes in. This was a truly disappointing visit to the winery on a beautiful fall day, and I don't think the couple we brought with us will make a special trip...
Read moreThis was the worst customer service I have ever experienced, would not recommend to anyone. This was recommended to me at work. We decided to check it out on a sunny weekend and requested to sit on the patio if possible. They told us they had no tables and were unable to seat us out there. We asked if there was a waitlist or if it was possible when people leave to which they stated “people won’t leave, there are no tables” and handed us the card and said “take it or leave it”. Being good sports, we sat inside and ordered a couple wine flights. We saw a lady in line before us who also had to sit inside and ask the same question about sitting outside when we saw tables start to open up and they told her they would see what they could do. They promptly found her seating outside. This also happened to another lady in front of us. Therefore, we asked politely, “we see this table is open and would it be okay if they were able to move outside when it was cleaned?” To which the lady stated, “we don’t know what is open outside AND ROLLED HER EYES AT ME. We calmly explained that we saw her accommodate other people and we did not appreciate being treated this way and proceeded to leave. Icing on top is on our way out another person was helped outside after she just told me no. I have never been so upset, this is why I am writing this review. This is the worst customer service treatment I have ever experienced. We ended up going to rustic roots which I highly recommend: friendly, relaxed, and...
Read moreI don't write reviews too often but my husband and I were so disappointed that we wanted to give people a heads up. The two stars are for the wine - it was VERY good. I will buy it at some point somewhere else. BUT I have never had such horrible customer service before. We went in for a tasting and it took atleast 10 min before someone said "i'll be there is a sec". Then atleast another 10 for her to come back and ask what we wanted. We put in our order for food (a pizza that was VERY good) and then my tasting and a beer for my husband. After we paid it was then atleast another 10 min for her to come back and take my chip for my first pour. While this was all going on there were other employees walking around, talking to each other and walking around aimlessly. For the number of employees and the number of customers at the "bar" at that time there is NO reason for these delays. We sat outside (beautiful patio) and every time I went back for a pour it was a 10-15 min wait. Each time the same situation of people walking around with not purpose, chi-chatting and staring off into space.
I've been a bartender - I currently work in customer service. I am a fairly understanding person when it comes to service and people being busy - if they are truly busy. They failed literally at all levels - not just for me but several others at the bar were also extremely disappointed. Sorry but I will not...
