One of the best dog walking spots in the Hudson Valley area. One super long and wicked straight path that can turn right into a rolling and beautiful farmland countryside. Take a left off the path and venture into a hilly wooded path thick with pines and oak. Hidden amongst the path will be the notable Buttercup Tower. This is the perfect place to bring your dogs for a nice walk. The path is somewhat closed off for your pup to escape into the wilderness so off leash training is definitely achievable. Just watch out for the little ponds which are a tempting swim for a hotdog.

Great place to take dogs! Never too crowded and well maintained. Driveway has big potholes so watch out for those.

Had an amazing time exploring this beautiful sanctuary, hoping to return in the spring to see more birds!

A nice place to take a stroll or walk your dog (leashed, of course). Sanctuary spans both sides of the road and has several different areas to ramble through. Lots of bird and animal life depending on the time of the year. Check out the old railroad water tank saddles, culvert and railbed on the far west section by the parking area. Always fun to go to and should probably go...
