We really enjoyed our trip to the pioneer village museum. The grounds are a beautiful and well kept. The buildings are in fine shape and well cared for and filled with all the period items that the building would have had in it. As an example, the dentist building was set up just like a dentist office would look with all of the vintage acouturements that would go with it. They have a vintage church and graveyard. An old one room schoolhouse, the dentist office, vintage jail building, a working blacksmith building and Carpenter shop. The list goes on! Every staff member and volunteer that I came across were kind and willing to answer any questions that I had. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to step back in time and re-examine the past. We enjoyed our trip very much and look forward to returning...
