Absolute gem of a place! The trail is located down behind the school and the parking is in the school parking lots, so you may want to plan your trip here when school isnt in session or you may not have a place to park.
The trails are well marked and its an easy loop trail and its not a long trail, but plan on spending some time here taking in the beauty of the waterfalls and woods. Trail can be muddy after a good rain especially near the side falls that will flow across the trail if its rained hard enough
There are several waterfalls here, and there are even more side falls that will appear after a good rain. The stairs down to Creamery Falls (as of July 6 2024) is closed because the 2nd half has come unattached. All the falls are accessible to view if you are careful, you can make your way to them. All of the falls are just spectacular.
The caves part of the trail, located near Creamery falls, was pretty neat. I poked my head into a few of the caves and they dont go back very far, but still pretty neat.
Only negatives are the bathroom here is absolutely disgusting so maybe pass on using that. And there is way too much trash being left by people. Please pick up after yourself!!
Park is free, but there is a donation box, so please leave a donation if you can. A few picnic tables at the start of the park. No camping, no...
Read moreOMG!!! I had so much fun here! I have been wanting to hike in an area where there were waterfalls, and not only were there several of those, there were caves! Obviously, be extremely careful around all of these things. The ground was somewhat muddy and a little slippery, even for my hiking boots. Just take your time and be careful and you can explore all the awesome things here. Many different ecosystems, lots of signage on the trail to inform you about what you are seeing, and at the very beginning there is a great map and you can take a pamphlet to help you identify what you are looking at. Like this review if you...
Read moreCaves trails waterfalls all highly maintained. Some damage post flood but otherwise a really lovely walk. There are lots of stairs and uneven terrains so few of difficulty walking. This is not the place for you.
When you get to the school pictured you're going to look for the little sign. This is nature closed. It's closed during school hours but pull through the parking lot past the buses around the little corner and there's another parking area down below for the hiking beach Trail. Be sure to hit the caves and the many many waterfalls wear good shoes. Trails going down to the falls can...
