It's a really nice state park. Has something for everyone. Perfect for the whole family. But expect crowds because it's a well known local gem. Have to pay $9 upon entrance per vehicle. It has a nice little snackbar Cafe and it offers stuff like nachos, fried foods like French fries, fried dough, chicken tenders, and hamburgers, wraps that look like small soft flour tacos, and ice cream. It has an outside shower station to rinse off and bathrooms, and Playground. Two sand beaches that are lifeguarded, divided by a stone barrier. There's tons of seagulls and the marina is perfect for people who want to kayak or canoe or paddle board around. If you like clam shells there's millions of them along the shoreline. Camping wise all the parks are exceptional. It's primarily getting to your camping lot and out of camp that may break an axle or spread your alignment. Was there this year,2025 main entrance still unchanged and bumpy, main road leading to bluff area camping is better fit for a four wheeler than a RV or one pulling one. The staff work very hard keeping up the park, but the ride in and out puts a huge damper on...

If you leave any trash you can get in trouble, and there is also no alcohol allowed. I seen many people drinking, but social distancing, etc.
It can often be VERY busy, and full so I reccomend going earlier in the morning to get a spot, or sitting on the rockier part of the beach.
Parking was almost always full in the lot, so getting there early is also best. Lifeguards were kind of jerks to people, but overall it was a...
