I was unfortunate I reserved site 65. When I went to the site it was impossible to get the camper in it to were we could set up camper to r Likings. the service door would of been facing away from the fire pit. theres a large tree in the way were I couldn't of swung it around. I would of needed a long extension cord. I went to to the office explained to them I'm unable to use this site. they offered me another site with no electricity. well that would not work either I asked for a refund they would not give me one. they said cancellations u need a 48 hours notice. I told them I'm not canceling it I cant get my camper in there. i didn't get my money back. going to have to take the to court I guess. customer service is y I'm ranking them so low. wasted the day getting ready for camping to drive there than drive all the...

However, when we arrived we soon learned that the coffee house on their map was only used for big events. Also, the spiders out there were ridiculous. I understand its a wooded area, but I believe there to be an insane amount of spiders around us. We ended up killing near 100 throughout the 3-days and we werent even there the whole time during those 3-days. When we mentioned it to the lady at the main office it sounded like the problem seemed familiar. So, if you can take constant killing of insects and spiders than try out staying here. Read moreHave been coming here for over 10 years. Initially enjoyed their tent sites with electricity and water. Loved the toilets and showers on-site. This year, we stayed at their new cabins. They still had the fresh wood smell when we walked in. The park is clean, and the office has a small convenience store within it. Unlike many other visitor locations we've been to, these guys were not price gouging, which we really appreciated. The kids had a blast fishing, making a camp fire, and even dipping their feet in Lake Winnebago. We made a trip to Hich Cliff State Park which is 15 min away to hike and rent their kayaks.
