Maiden Rock Bluff State Natural Area — Attraction in Town of Stockholm

One of my favorite places to see from above, especially in autumn when the colors are incredible, these photos were taken in autumn 2023. I found it a little difficult to get around to get to the place, the passage to the place is narrow to walk without touching in the bushes that will surround you, but if you are adventurous none of this will be a problem, in the end the reward comes and the view is beautiful, you can see the sea, the colors and you can see the road with several cars passing by, it's worth a lot just. Short hike, great views. If you're lucky, you can see the train come by. The trail is a little confusing - there are multiple parallel trails. You kinda have to go off the trail onto compacted dirt to see the cool views. Most of the trail goes through grassy lands. Be careful near the cliffside. Its a steep drop. As a previous reviewer noted, "NOT a park". If you're looking for swings and a picnic area, no. It is a natural area, preserved from development. It looks like there was a farm there once- an old barn near the parking area, and maybe an old orchard near the bluffs? It's beautiful, we hiked in (there was a trail through the snow) to the bluff on a rare warm day this Spring and saw a wonderful view...
