Sandy Knoll County Park — Attraction in Town of Trenton

This park has potential. Main reason I came was to take my girls on the playground..it had a sand pit, swings, lots of climbing and was pretty fun. Most people came to take their dog to Sandy Paws dog park it looked like. I took a drive around the park cause I was excited to check out the beach but the minute I stepped out of my car I was swarmed with bugs and it smelled bad. There was a lot of picnic tables but who would want to eat when it's stinky and flocked with bugs? Please clean the beach area up..it does not even look safe or sanity for swimming. Overall, it's a pretty nice big park with a lot of hiking trails and a pretty old barn...

I'm not from the area but wanted to let my 3 year old daughter out of the car as we were driving for quite sometime so I stopped at a random park not realizing I had to pay just to be there. I get a letter in the mail a couple weeks later saying I failed to pay a silly fee? (Yes, it's silly no matter what any "official" thinks) What the hell?! This is greed at it's finest. I will never go to a park in Washington County. Is the county that petty and cheap? They can't use the public funding they already get from tax payers to pay for maintenance? All this for taking my kid to a park for 30...

Very quaint Park just east of Wallace Lake. Sand beach pond good for wading and catching an occasional fish. You will also have an opportunity to hike on some nice short trails. Park has updated restrooms and quality playground equipment. Appears you may also reserve a building for parties and gatherings. Full service frisbee golf center and challenging coarse.
