This park has potential. Main reason I came was to take my girls on the playground..it had a sand pit, swings, lots of climbing and was pretty fun. Most people came to take their dog to Sandy Paws dog park it looked like. I took a drive around the park cause I was excited to check out the beach but the minute I stepped out of my car I was swarmed with bugs and it smelled bad. There was a lot of picnic tables but who would want to eat when it's stinky and flocked with bugs? Please clean the beach area up..it does not even look safe or sanity for swimming. Overall, it's a pretty nice big park with a lot of hiking trails and a pretty old barn...

I get a letter in the mail a couple weeks later saying I failed to pay a silly fee? (Yes, it's silly no matter what any "official" thinks) What the hell?! This is greed at it's finest. I will never go to a park in Washington County. Is the county that petty and cheap? They can't use the public funding they already get from tax payers to pay for maintenance?
