Booth Lake Memorial Park — Attraction in Town of Troy

This is a private park, you have to be a member of the 10,000 people that live there to have access to the Veterans Memorial, the picnic tables or even the parking lot. Felt like we were openly being entrapped for a ticket there was an officer on the scene who did not provide any assistance and we were essentially hassled for money as we ate our breakfast off the trunk of a car in an empty gravel...

Karen came by and told us we needed to pay... For a public park...

$3/day for a PUBLIC park. I was also told it was "for residents only". Given the Trump idol worship I've seen in this town, I'm not surprised that the general attitude is rude toward visitors, is generally facist and that taxes don't do anything.

We love this little beach! Great people run it. Must be east troy residents, and thats a good thing. Never very crowded. Have been swimming here for years and having our kids birthdays here for years as well. Even baptized our youngest daughter right here. Always clean. In other words, its horrible, stay away, avoid at all costs, and just let the few of us...
