Beautiful, peaceful, picturesque, scenic, etc. Lake Tiorati is one of the Seven Lakes of Harriman State Park.

As I was passing through, on Seven Lakes Drive, for the first time, I was compelled to stop on the side of the road, to take photos of this memorable view of the lake. It was quickly approaching twilight from dusk, when I arrived; so the photos aren't the best. I have to return in the near future, during a better time of the day.

Enjoy the photos!

Staff is completely rude and prejudice toward minority attendees and families. They’re very selective about entry towards entry into the lakes main parking. They don’t provide clear direction or support or support about navigating the roads around the lake in a high traffic environment.

Don’t travel with a multitude of people/cars/families. This area isn’t honestly built for that. Even on a Sunday, parking got full and the closest parking was 2 miles away (about 20+ min walk). Staff will send folkx to Bear Mountain (10 min drive from Tiorati).

Signal is EXTREMELY limited so coordinating with friends/family was difficult. If you are going with multiple people, leave and arrive TOGETHER.

No drop-off / load off points. Just a...

Lake Tiorati Pro: Great place, so beautiful. Awesome views, panoramic scenery, perfect to BBQ, to spend magnificent family time. Bathrooms really well maintained. Fully accessibility handicap. Safe for kids. Con: summer time when season is high demand there is no enough parking space available and when parking lot is full their closed and not one is allowed to get in (I highly recommend arriving early) you...

Very clean, very friendly place. Be coming here for years and it’s always a great visit. The water is fit for swimming, kayaking, fishing and more. The campgrounds are neat and orderly. The people are friendly and it’s not too crowded either. Great place to spend a short or long period of time to relax.

We went to this beach on a weekend and it’s crowded with water not that clean. Lake Welch was a lot cleaner and bigger but it was closed temporarily due to toxic algae. The parking lot is not free. You have to pay $10 per vehicle. I think this place might be good to go on weekday.
