Beautiful, peaceful, picturesque, scenic, etc. Lake Tiorati is one of the Seven Lakes of Harriman State Park.
As I was passing through, on Seven Lakes Drive, for the first time, I was compelled to stop on the side of the road, to take photos of this memorable view of the lake. It was quickly approaching twilight from dusk, when I arrived; so the photos aren't the best. I have to return in the near future, during a better time of the day.

Read moreStaff is completely rude and prejudice toward minority attendees and families. They’re very selective about entry towards entry into the lakes main parking. They don’t provide clear direction or support or support about navigating the roads around the lake in a high traffic environment.
Don’t travel with a multitude of people/cars/families. This area isn’t honestly built for that. Even on a Sunday, parking got full and the closest parking was 2 miles away (about 20+ min walk). Staff will send folkx to Bear Mountain (10 min drive from Tiorati).
Signal is EXTREMELY limited so coordinating with friends/family was difficult. If you are going with multiple people, leave and arrive TOGETHER.
