They open when they want to… I had went recently on a small family trip with my boyfriend and his sister to see the falls. Silly me, I ended up misplacing my phone just before closing and this polite lady turned it in to the outlook center before I could locate it.(thanks again to her for being a good person.) Anyways, we decided to check the hours listed and came back the next morning when they should have opened… we sat there for 20 mins, no one showed up.🙃 no biggie, possibly whoever was just running late… we proceeded to wait 10 more minutes. We then decided to call the numbers listed in the window. One call directed us to the next, until someone came to unlock the door just so I could grab my phone. (She didn’t even work for that place, thanks again to her as well.) All I’m saying is if your an early bird, or planning to go see the falls in the morning, also looking to buy a souvenir 🎁 I would suggest calling before hand to see if someone’s going to be there to assist you. Please try opening on time 🙏 I noticed the information center/gift shop lost quite a few potential customers who were there, that same day waiting for...

There are trails that start from the overlook, but appear to be a rim trail. Check this place out if...
Read moreI didn't share pictures of the waterfall because there is no camera that can capture the experience. The beauty of the plunging waterfall from the overlook is transformative. I rode my bicycle there and because of time constraints I didn't hike to the bottom of the gorge. The place offered much more than I had anticipated. If you plan on visiting make sure that you carve out adequate time to hike and enjoy the full experience. There are also ample bike racks so if you cycle take a bike lock so that you can walk around and absorb...
