What an incredible addition to the finger lakes region. We stopped in as a group of 4 and had four tastings: the reds, the classic whites, and the slightly sweets. At $16 for four glasses it is slightly pricier than other tastings in the region, but the quality, conversation, and atmosphere are second to none!

We spent our Friday afternoon hanging with Josh and he was spectacular. He was informative, kind, and all around a great guy with a lot of knowledge on the history of the founders of Living Roots and their ties to Australia.

As a family with different palettes we enjoyed the Lake House White, the Sparkling Rosé, and the Off Dry Riesling. The Australian Reds were also a hit and unique to the region - something you wouldn’t be able to get elsewhere.

In short, although slightly pricier for the FLX you are paying for a quality experience with a great wine, incredible views, and some awesome merch! Check it out and say hi to Josh on your...

My wife, dog and I did a tasting for the first time last September on the patio and it was awesome! Great wines, view, and experience. We knew we would be back this September when we visited the area again. We highly recommended this place to several of our friends. Went today really looking forward to it. Went in to tell them we would like to do a tasting outside with our dog and were told they do not do tastings outside, just glasses of wine or bottles because too many tasting glasses are getting broken and glasses are getting too expensive. Had we known the policy changed, we would not have stopped. Sorry, but some broken glasses are just the cost of doing business in my opinion. I hope you reconsider your policy in the future and would love to visit you...

I was really looking forward to visiting this winery and it didn't disappoint. Fabulous FLX wines and Australian wines to try. Very beautiful modern space. Loved all the diagrams and info they provided to each guest about their wines. The only negative was that we wanted to sit and have a snack with our tastings, but when we walked in we were asked if we wanted to do a flight tasting and when we said yes they pointed us to a spot along the counter. We were given no other options or offered a good menu; which I had seen online. There were tables and chairs in two other rooms but no one was sitting at them. We left with some wines and chips, which we gobbled down in the car. Don't be like me.. maybe ask about the menu if you need some food...

Being from California, we tend to like drier style, more full bodied wines. The Finger Lakes region tends to produce lighter bodied, sweeter wines, so in theory this was going to be less than a perfect fit for us. We visited a few wineries with limited success but then we found Living Roots! Wow, they have hit on the Holy Grail of wines by combining the best of the Finger Lakes wines with Australian wines. This gives them access to the best of whites and the best of reds. The views of Lake Keuka are simply stunning from their vantage point on the hill. The tasting room is gorgeous, the nicest of the 8 or so that we visited in the area. Well worth the time and effort to stop in!
