This is a beautiful little area encompassing about 50 acres on either side of a seasonal dirt road. You can find little parking areas in a couple of spots along the road, otherwise just pull off to the side at wider areas along the road. There are a few marked trails and kiosks showing you the area and it's a beautiful mix of hemlock and hardwood forests along the steep ravines. Lots of great birds there if you are into birding as well.
My only issue is the people who dump their trash alongside the road. Please if you go bring a garbage bag and pick some stuff up to help keep this...
Read moreThe best part about this place is the natural spring water that comes out of the side of the mountain, into a PVC pipe so you can put the water into containers. I have been coming to this location for about 20 yrs now & I won't drink any other water except from here. The water has a perfect PH Balance. I have tested it myself several times throughout the years and it always registers right in the middle, which is perfect! The scenery & wildlife are amazing...
