Just a word of warning: When cidermaker Autumn Stoscheck warns you that it's "a hike" to the orchard, she means it in a Sir Edmund Hillary kind of way. It's a stunning climb, and well worth the effort.
On the day I was there it was hot. And it was raining. And I was soaked to the bone. And every minute of my visit was a joy.
I was grateful for every instant that I got to listen to Autumn talk about cider apples and trees and terrain. For my taste buds, along with they have a Pommeau which is a for sure sipping drink. HOWEVER, I have never enjoyed drinking a beverage as much as their particular Pommeau. Its complex, and tastes like drinking 5 drinks in one. Each time you notice something differing.
