If you like history and would like to learn more about the former Seneca Army Depot then you’ll enjoy the ride but don’t expect to see much of any wildlife. Loved that they plant vegetable crops for the animals to feed off. We saw what look like two white deers way in the distance (way too far to be sure) and there were a couple of times where white tail deers crossed the road a couple of 100 feet in front of us, oh and yes we saw 2 bald eagle nests, trees are very far away so definitely bring binoculars which in my opinion for the admission price, the park should offer them as loners to be returned back with the ipad they provide. This is a hit or miss tour... in my personal opinion a bit pricey at $54 for the 2 person personal car tour, with additional fees for more passengers and as I was told an 8 passenger tour on their tour bus would be around $300. Probably makes more sense to go on...
Read moreIt was a little pricey at 50 bucks for our car of 2 people, but it was still really cool to see all the abandoned buildings and learn about the history of the Seneca Depot. And knowing that the money goes towards preserving the area makes the price a little easier to understand.
We only saw 1 white deer, but we did see a handful of brown deer and birds. We got bunched up with the car ahead of us and it seemed like they got to see way more than us.
The only feedback I would have is maybe increase the amount of time between cars going through to give everyone a better chance of seeing the white deer. Or maybe offer a discounted second visit for another chance to see the deer. Other than that it was a great way to spend...
