My Husband and I got married at KRF in October of 2023 and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to book this venue. My parents attended one of their "Dinner Under The Moon" events and I knew from the minute I saw the pictures that was where we needed to get married. The location is absolutely beautiful. We kept saying it was our way to have a "backyard wedding" without actually having it at our home. Everything is so well kept and cared for, their team is so kind and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and we were happy. The Sugar House was the most amazing place to get ready in. The decor was gorgeous and having an entire house was awesome. They really did make our wedding day so perfect and knowing we were supporting a family business in our hometown was the cherry on top!
Since we booked we have attended pancake breakfasts, dinner under the moon and plan to stay at the sugar house for our anniversary! We know that this will be a special place in our family for years to...
Read moreVery pricey, terrible setup. For two pancakes in two sausages, You end up paying $12.50, with one little pat of butter, and a little thing of syrup, pre-portioned cup, $2 more if you want extra syrup. Breakfast sandwiches were small pre-made with funky combinations and limited choice, for $8.50. You have to stand in line at a window in the cold, snow blowing down from their roof to order and then after they hand you your assembly line free packaged sandwiches and pancakes, you have to go around the corner and walk into the building which is very very noisy find your way to a place to get your cream and sugar forks and knives, by the way that are another area. Sit down with others since it is community seating, You noticed they could be serving from inside as well and doing a much better job than charging a fair price. It's no wonder nobody spends any money at their gift shop after they just got raked over the colds to have breakfast for $30 for two people. I will...
Read moreWent here with a group of four for Maple Weekend and we were all severely disappointed. We waited in line for over an hour to order food (despite the website’s claims that the line moves quickly). When we got to the front of the line, we spent over $65 on just four items. The food we received was clearly made ahead of time and sat for a while wrapped in foil. The food was neither hot nor fresh and tasted like frozen store bought items that had been thawed and served. The pancakes in particular were ice cold, dry, and thin. The sausage that came with the pancakes was burnt to a crisp. The beef hash was made up of cold roasted potatoes, large chunks of barely pickled onions, and undercooked eggs. The breakfast sandwich had almost nothing inside and was mainly sauce on a hard roll. Would not recommend unless you are looking to stand outside in the cold only to waste your money on...
