I know I’m going to seem like a harsh critic, and I don’t see my review as being the general consensus, BUT this was MY experience. Backstory. My 95 year old Mom had a stroke and broke both her ankles NYE. For a solid month all I’ve done is drive back and forth to the rehab trying to take care of her VIRTUALLY. This IS a virtual nightmare. January 31, my husband said I HAD to get out for a while. He heard about this light show and SKEETER PANTS was playing at Blue Arrow. Even though a snowstorm was expected, we planned on being home before it hit ( and we were) The hour ride did sound exactly what I needed. Payed $10 cover, spent $60 on food truck and $20 bar tab. But we were told the lights would NOT be turned on. Yes, I was very disappointed. I don’t know what the criteria is for having them on. I brought my good Nikon to take photos. They couldn’t be turned on for 1/2 hour? I’m also a business owner. I taught Dance classes, and sometimes it snowed and 1 or 2 people would show up. Of course I taught the class! They showed up! Their money is just as valuable to me as a class of 40. Every customer deserves your 100% whether is 1 or 200. We couldn’t even get another log on the fire at 5pm when it was starting to get kinda cold in the Barn. For that reason I didn’t buy a t shirt. I felt like my business didn’t matter. Shrug. I’m sure we will be back when it’s warm, but I’ll keep my expectations low. Skeeter Pants was a lot of fun! He made for a good time! Very interactive with the people. Thank you for reading .

Read moreHorrible experience. Took my 2 yr old daughter to go have breakfast with the Easter Bunny and we paid almost $50 for nothing. Got there about 8:15am, no signs or anyone to greet you to tell you what's going on accept one sign that says even with an arrow. Walk in the hall is dark and very quiet, no Easter Bunny in sight at all, Breakfast wasn't set up yet and there were NO activities for the kids to do, So we walked around the property for another 30 minutes. Thank God they had dinosaur statues because that's the only thing that kept my poor daughters attention or interest. You had to pay for the face painting, pay for the little train ride. Why did we pay almost $50 for? We go back to the hall and still no Bunny no food ready. It's bad enough we got our daughter up super early because this was the last slot that wasn't sold out and for them not to be ready and set up before all the guests got there is crazy to me. Worst first experience to see the Easter Bunny for my poor daughter. They should at least give us half our money back. I can't believe we paid almost $50 to walk the property, that had no petting zoo like they said either and just to see dinosaur statues. 😳 Just Horrible experience all together. Shame on...
Read moreSome of my family recently went here for the San Gennaro festival. It started at 12 noon and we got there just before 12:30. We were hungry so we immediately headed for the food trucks. The main food truck had 5 items. Between the 6 of us we ordered 3 of the items and were told that it would take from 15 to 30 minutes. Just after we ordered 2 if the items were sold out. 1 of the items was chicken fingers/fries. So much for having a sufficient supply of food. Also the cook was apparently cooking food and putting it out out of order so people who had been waiting for 15 minutes were getting their food before people who had been waiting much longer. People were frustrated at best. I could go on but that food truck was completely mismanaged. After we ate we decided on desert. One food truck offered cannoli, zeppole and bruschetta. The other food truck offered ice cream and Italian ice. The Italian ice I had was definitely the worst I've ever had. The icecream was good. The cannolis were sold out in less than 2 hours but the zeppoles were good. The reason for the 4 stars is that it's a great place to bring young children. Just eat...
