Mountain Tower — Attraction in Town of Washington

Made it. You don’t really know how many steps you have to climb until you commit to it. There are like 8 sections of wooden stairs to climb to reach the tower where there are more stairs at the tower, like 8 sections again. (Approximate.) The view is of the roadways, island views, with a bit of water in the distance. The views over 1/2 of the platform are just tree tops. See the pictures in the reviews. Mountain tower was cool. But looked like it was falling apart. Some steps missing a ¹/4 piece wood. Not connected to the supporting piece below and some nails that looked like a jigsaw puzzle. - someone had tried a half dozen times and could not get them all in.

Plenty of spots to take a break on the walk up. But save your energy you will need it when climbing the tower.

Very cool views and decently maintained area overall. The walk up the stairs could be a bit daunting for some but overall it wasn’t too bad.
