Waupun Park Maple Forest State Natural Area — Attraction in Town of Waupun

While traveling through this supposedly State Natural Area.. it seems there was or still is logging operations taking place. To me this seems to have thrown 50 years of natural area away, maybe logging is now considered natural.. I guess money is more important then preserving a natural environment where endangered species reside.

When all the trees have been cut down, when all the animals have been hunted, when all the waters are polluted, when all the air is unsafe to breathe, only then will you discover you cannot eat...

I absolutely love this place. My favorite time to go is in the Fall when the leaves are changing color. There's public restrooms and a park area with a jungle gym.
