I’ve lived in this town my entire life and have seen the improvements made to the park over the years. There’s a big great playground for children then another playground area for smaller children/toddlers. There’s a pond stocked with fish that you can fish at whenever you’re there. There is also hiking trails and bike trails towards the back of the park I. The wooded areas. They have pavilions you can rent out to have parties, but also have other areas where you can barbecue with little grills that remain there for your use. As long as you keep your animal under control or leashes you are allowed to bring your dog. They just ask that you please pick up all dog waste since it is a park and has children running around. There is bathrooms on site, which is great for parents with younger children. They also have a basketball court not far from the parking lot. This is a great place to spend a afternoon with kids. It’s more than just a playground and it’s always clean and beautiful when I...

The town keeps it well maintained. Great place to have a picnic, hike, sports and fishing. Lake is lovely and the walkway around the park is great for exercise. I wish they would clear the snow off the walkway in the winter so joggers and walkers have a safe place to go besides the side of the road. Also the biking trails are amazing! I just wish that other people could respect that it's a shared space. I dont want someone's dog chasing me while I jog. Dogs aren't allowed and definitely not off leash. Also, people blaring loud music with profanity right next to the playground when kids are there (music coming from their car that shouldn't be parked next to the pavilion). This doesn't happen often but when people start doing these things others will too and eventually it will...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in Upstate NY!

We hosted a baby shower for my daughter-in-law at Lippman Park and couldn’t have chosen a better location. The park is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The large gazebos provided plenty of space for our guests, and the setup made everything feel relaxed and welcoming.

One of the best parts was the playground right next to our area — the kids had a blast, and we were able to keep an eye on them while enjoying the celebration. The nearby river added a peaceful backdrop, and it was great to know that fishing is allowed there too. Each picnic area came with its own grill, which made it convenient for our cookout.

Lippman Park exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back for more family gatherings in the future!...

I came here for a run while I was unexpectedly in the area longer than anticipated. There is a one-mile, mostly paved and flat running loop near the entrance to the park. Back in the woods, there are trails for mountain biking that also—at least when there are no bikes—make for lovely trail running. The trails are lined with pine needles, which makes a soft surface (good for the knees). The trails in the woods aren’t well marked, though, once you get past a few stray trail markers near the entrance. A picture of the running trail and one of the mountain biking trails are included with this review. Enjoy!

I had a great time riding these trails, they were really nice beginner and intermediate trails that have been cultivated and maintained well. Some additional signage about trails and directions would be super cool (I am saying this as a non-local), it would make navigating easier which would allow for longer rides. The reception up there is scant at best so have you Trail Forks or MTB project maps downladed prior before heading to the trail. There is amazing scenery up there when you're done biking, lots of scenic overlooks that are great for taking it all in. Definitely worth the trip

Fun fishing. However the catfish is all we caught and all were covered in parasites. Just keep a mind out. All in all, a nice place to go. There is little grill pits to go either the family, there are trails and I think there could be up to 3 ponds there as well as trails around them all. Some trails are paved. Lots of shade from trees and an overall quiet spot.
