Yesterday I took my 2 boys and my daughter to take pictures of them in Sunflower Valley Farm. I had traveled 1.5 hrs from NJ, and to my surprise it was closed. I had told my kids we can’t just leave, it’s too beautiful to leave without any pictures. As we were taking the pictures a man drove up…( I surely thought he would tell us we need to leave right away.)his name was Brian, (one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met!) I apologized and said we will leave right away. To my surprise he said “no, it’s okay take as many pictures as you like and take your time.” He also told us about a ladder you can stand on and oversea all the sunflowers. I will definitely be visiting again! This man’s kindness is what the world needs more of, and now understand why his sunflowers and farm is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You just feel peace all around! 🙏🏼🥰😍...
Read moreAmazing fields gleaming with tall beautiful bloomed sunflowers. Only $5 entry fee ( Cash only ) and you are allowed to choose, cut and take home 3 fresh 🌻🌻🌻!!! The fields are like a maze, so you have some trails to enter and cut them. Do spray yourself with repellent, as we are visiting their home! The unpicked field across the road was pristine for pictures and the tractors were a great touch! They are working farm vehicles, but we were allowed to climb them for pictures. The petting animals were super cute, though they needed more shade in this heat 🥺. So many friends have visited thanks to our voices. End of season is August 30th, so DO go soon!!! FYI. Bring a bucket and a gallon of two of water for traveling home. Wouldn't want your flowers to die in transit. Photography 📸📱credit: Chef Carlos C. Torres of Monster...
Read moreWe went here the weekend of Sept.7th and we were glad we did because it was near the end of sunflower season but we still managed to get a glimpse of the beautiful sunflowers. That weekend they had a corn festival going on and they had some stands that sold corn products and drinks. They also had a tiny petting zoo with a few baby cows and goats and also a play area for kids. The farm is small and there isn't much to do but we were there for the sunflowers and we took beautiful pictures. Our 22 month old thoroughly enjoyed the small animals and play area so the entrance fee of $5/car was worth it. We're glad we finally checked this off our bucket list!
