Nice little strip of land on which to watch the witch of November fly in her purple rage across the horizon. On a warmer, less stormy day, its a great place to enjoy the picnic tables and permanrnt grills, to have an impromptu picnic dinner watching a sunset on the water. No swimming, due to the rugges shoreline and the rocks, but wonderful virws and fresh Ontario breezes. We have several times found that the wind off the lake often makes for a stark temperature difference from what it is in Rochester downtown; once in early summer it was 14 degrees colder and i spent all of dinner shivering in shorts. So bring a sweater or blanket,...

I occasionally stop here if I'm passing through, nice place to take a moment to breath and think. Gorgeous views with water on both sides, and tall wooded cliffs around the bay. Bugs are thick towards dusk, when I'm usually there, so I don't stay long. Doesn't seem to be super busy usually, at least when the bridge isn't in place. Sandbar Park in Webster is great to visit at sunset. The pictures do not due the view justice. The colors on the water are so vibrant here. There is even space here to picnic. There is no running water or bathrooms here, but there is a port-a-potty outhouse. These views are gorgeous that’s why the 5-stars.
