Kettle Moraine conservation area with lots of open and wooded trails. Lots of nice scenery, ponds with frogs, Excellent for cross country trail running with moderate to difficult trails. Very technical. No excuses for not maxing out your heart rate. These trails will do it. The open grassy trails are easy running and walking. No trail pass required for walking, hiking and running. Nordic skiing is available during winter and requires a trail pass. No picnic tables, restrooms or other park style amenities...

1st winter hike here. Great map, well marked trails and OUTSTANDING terrain. Good exercise and I only walked the west loop. Already looking forward to coming back after snow season. Those ski trails look even more amazing than the hiking...

This was a beautiful walk. The trails are poorly marked though and I ended up walking longer than I anticipated. There are different trails from prairie to woods. I will definitely be back, but...

1st winter hike here. Great map, well marked trails and OUTSTANDING terrain. Good exercise and I only walked the west loop. Already looking forward to coming back after snow season. Those ski trails look even more amazing than the hiking routes... ;)
