Little Scarboro State Public Hunting Grounds — Attraction in Town of West Kewaunee

Cool little area, not a ton of trails if that is what you're looking for. Summer makes it a bit harder for children to make it through. Lots of tall plants and some thorn bushes here and there. Creek is hard to fish unless it is early spring or fall when the plants are flattened out a bit. There are brook trout here as you can see. Yes I did wet my hand for those of you who care. Mostly small fish but I know a guy that caught an 11 incher so there's some larger ones swimming around. I would recommend a short rod if you're fishing, as you're not going to be casting here. Lots of overgrowth. I personally used a 4 foot okuma ultralight and ran trout magnets. I'm sure it would be a decent place to hunt, I've stumbled across several trail cams, they have a thumbs up and a smile...
