[= welcome to a place with a breathtaking view of God's country & His glory. I found the journey to the top to be enough to get my heart rate up while still being fairly easy. There's enough room on the path to step aside shall you need to rest. The sunset was perfect♡ & It was incredible to see the turkey vultures so closely (thanks to their rock ledge nesting) that we could hear the wooshing of their wings as they were soaring overhead. Oh & we did NOT have to use our bug spray for our duration there, which was a nice surprise.

I wasn't too sure what to expect, but I knew there would be a lot of climbing involved! 😨 😆(It is 1,246 feet to the top, and I've never climbed anything that high before in my life.) However, I also really wanted to go because of the amazing views! Once you reach the top, every step is SO well worth the climb! Plus, after all that great exercise, and the incredible views, you go home feeling like your on cloud 9! We packed a light lunch, and ate after we returned back down from the huge rock. I definitely want to take some family and friends back here again so they can experience...
