It's a swamp so not many trails to follow but if you're into bird watching its a nice spot for photos. I counted at least 8 heron nests way up in the trees. I've been here twice and have seen a total of 4 great blue heron, and various other birds.

Excellent small preserve. We went during the winter and there was lots of great stuff to see. The trails had some debris on them, that would be typical for a winter hike. We saw evidence of beaver and large birds of prey.

Beautiful preserve. Didn’t get to walk the trail as the recent rains caused the swamp to cover the trail no did see the red maroons for a trail, though.

Google maps directions do not get one to the ‘main’ entrance. The entrance is on Rt404 where it’s called ‘bear...

The trail is in bad shape and not really marked. This could be a lovely short hike if I could see the trail.. the swamp is beautiful, heron nests in the trees and ducks and other birds. But the trail needs serious work...
