Whitewater Lake — Attraction in Town of Whitewater

Make sure you have your state park sticker. This area is well monitored by the rangers. Nice little public beach. The bottom of the lake is pretty rocky though so you might want some water shoes. There is a paved path from the parking lot down a hill to the beach. There is a fair amount of space for having a picnic but not many tables. The restrooms do not have flushable toilets or sinks. There is a hand sanitizer dispenser that is usually full but we bring our own just in case. The lake is beautiful but on summer weekends and holidays the boat traffic...

If you're within a 30-minute drive of Whitewater Lake, pack a picnic lunch, some pail-and-shovel toys for the kiddos, and a book for yourself, then head down to the lake.
