I was surprised today how many people were there (Sunday) swimming, kayaking...it was pretty cool! After soooo many months staying home because if covid ..I just hope everyone stays safe, distancing outside, masks inside or large groups...but beautiful day, water was nice! Sail boats, fishing boats, her skis, picnics...ahhh.....summer! Fir me nice bench in shade, guitar, glass of wine....😌 I would like to add this but if personal history; When we were kids (1950's) this was a farm. Read moreI love this park! You have frisbee golf in the front, followed by the beach with a nice entrance and they also have a handicap area to park on the other side. Across the way is huge play ground for the kids with tons to do. Alittle ways down you have bathrooms and a wash station. Best of all they also have a kayak launch and clean station! Also a boat launch down the way and I usually get to capture these beautiful white swans that hang out around the boat doc. It's just a wonderful place over all. The views change dramatically with every season and even during different times of the day. On clear days you can also clearly spot the skyline of Toronto on the other side of the lake. Summers are full of life and great for beach side activities like kayaking and swimming and the nearby Creek is very inviting. The park area is great for running and/or children to play. Bring your own food if you wanna sit down and eat cos the nearest shops are about a 10...
