Wyalusing State Park Visitor Center — Attraction in Town of Wyalusing

Weekday camping sites are the only chance you'll have to camp here unless you've made reservations months in advance. I loved this park. I love exploring effigy mounds. The ranger was helpful & shared a wealth of information about the area. Views of the rivers are so beautiful. Make sure you drive to the boat launch and the Carrier Pigeon tribute. It's a shame what we have done to that species. Unfortunately, we just don't learn and continue to decimate the planet and it's inhabitants. My wife dog and I can easily say one of our favorites, Wisconsin is incredibly blessed with many state parks in many areas, which we have been. This park is on our top list for views, beauty, birds, mushrooming, hiking. Book early for spring migration the place fills up fast. We camped here for two nights this past weekend. We were very happy with this park. The park was clean and we'll maintained. The hiking paths were kept up and the views were spectacular.
