Wanted to check out the New Park while visiting from Maryland and was not disappointed. The Park is a hidden gem. I hope it remains this beautiful but while we were there someone was letting their large dog run free, when dogs are supposed to be on a leash.(some little kids could be afraid of dogs )

A quiet, peaceful park, that is usually unoccupied. Grills and tables if you'd like to cook out while watching from the shore of Lake Ontario. Definitely a favorite peace bringing spot!

Peaceful and beautiful.

UPDATE 6 years later.

The updates to my favorite spot on the lake are astounding. Such beautiful work has been done there, and an amazing pier has been added. The new pavilion is amazing! I will be taking my family there for my birthday perhaps this year to enjoy the new...

I love all the updates to the park! All of the paved parking, a really tall fishing pier, and a canoe launch that gets you down to the lake height with ada compliant hand rails and a gradual ramp at least til the end where it is...
