I have taken two trips to Rausch Creek so far in a stock 1997 Chevy k1500 and both times I was able to drive it an hour and a half there and back home. The first trip in 2017 was strictly green trails, and at the time I thought that was a bit difficult. The second trip (June 2019) was a mix of green and blue trails with a black powerline thrown in. Be warned, the blue trails are ABSOLUTELY GNARLY if you arent lifted/running bigger tires. You will smash your underside left and right on the rocks lol. If you just bought a brand new pickup, id suggest you find a beater truck instead for those trails. The employees are always super polite which is very refreshing, and the park is well kept. The free camping would make the $50 dollar daily fee worth the cost, but I havent taken advantage of that yet. I suppose its a fair price regardless if you take into consideration what alternate activities cost (such as going out for dinner or the amusement park). The only thing that dissapointed me, was the fact that my power steering pump failed 5 minuites in on a trail, and under normal circumstances I wouldnt push my luck, but felt obligated to continue on because I payed a grand total of $78 for the daily fee/yearly due/a decal. But that was out of anyones control, and I know I shouldn't feel some kind of way about it. I highly reccomend this 3000 acre offroad park to anyone who may be on the fence about going. Drive slow. Pay attention and know your vehicles limits and you'll get out in one piece, dont try to impress anyone but yourself (which is sometimes hard to do when you see some of the other rigs) A++ and thanks Rausch Creek for another awesome experience. See ya again...
Read moreThis place is awesome! Just awesome! Staff is friendly and helpful, park is clean and somewhat easy to navigate. (Their maps could be a little better, but i would say thats my biggest and only complaint, if you want to even call it that..lol) So to start this review is for newbies and first timers. This was my first time to an "offroad park" I've been on sand and dirt and light mud before, but this is a totaly different ball game, its like football and baseball they are both sports, they both have balls but thats about it, the rules of the game are totaly different. I have a stock 5th gen SR5 4runner with 9.5" clearance, and this was enough to be able to ride and have a blast on the green(easy) trails. I would highly recommend to anyone coming here for their first time, you must have someone with experience as a spotter, or take advantage of one of their trail guides, if you don't youll be going home with a torn fuel line/mangled rims and tires/or busted oil-pan and thats best case scenario. The easy trails are still very challenging for a beginner, lots of rocks/ditches/mud/bolders and you'll need someone looking out for tire placement. Again this is for newbies with stock SUVs and Jeeps, if you have a few inches lift, with 33s and up, green trails will be fun, with little worry about your ride. This is not to scare away anyone new to offroading, just to make sure your prepared. Make sure you bring the right equipment, take your time, and make sure your ready...

We absolutely love this park and keep coming back, even after moving an hour away from Windrock in TN. There’s nothing like tackling the slate rocks and diverse trails here. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, the trails are well-maintained, constantly expanding, and always a blast!
We visit Rausch Creek Offroad Park a few times a year, and somehow it always feels like it’s snowing—which just makes it even more fun! The park’s atmosphere and challenges never get old.
Big shoutout to Bernie, who we’ve gotten to know over the years. He’s an incredible guy who’s always willing to help, no matter the time or where you’re stuck. That level of service is rare at offroad parks and makes this place stand out.
We’ve been wheeling here since before we could drive, and it’s still a favorite among my friends. As a business owner, I totally understand the costs of maintaining land like this, so we find their pricing completely reasonable, especially considering how they invest back into the park. From new fire rings and tables in the camping area to trail expansions, they’re always improving!
Favorite trail? Crawl Daddy—it gets harder every year and is an incredible challenge in the snow. Can’t wait for...
